Onikenbai MTL est un groupe fondé en 2023 afin de faire rayonner l’Onikenbai en Amérique du Nord. Lors d’un séjour au Japon, certains membres ont participé à un Kadodzuke, ce qui a inspiré le désir d’introduire cette idée à Montréal
L’Onikenbai est un art vivant dont la vocation est d’apporter de la bonne fortune.

Our group
Onikenbai MTL is a group that was established in 2023 with the aim of bringing the Onikenbai artform to North America. While travelling in Japan, some members had the opportunity to participate in an Onikenbai Kadodzuke performance, which planted the seed to bring this practice to Montreal.
Onikenbai is a live performance with the purpose of bringing good fortune.
